OUR FAMILIES TRADITIONAL ROASTED TURKEY

  TRADITIONAL ROASTED TURKEY (Photo Coming Soon) Yields : 16  servings Prep Time: 0  hours  10  mins Cook Time : 5  hours  0  mins Total Time : 5  hours  10  mins Ingredients   1 Whole turkey (I used a 20-pounder), brined 1 cup (2 stick) butter, softened 1 pkg. Fresh Poultry Herbs;  Thyme, Sage, and Rosemary  Chopped Salt and Pepper (To taste about tsp or so)   Directions Preheat oven to 350. If you brined your turkey, rinse it well under cold water. Fill the sink with fresh cold water and allow the turkey to soak for 15 to 20 minutes to remove any saltiness. Pat the turkey dry. In a small bowl combine with butter, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Place the turkey on a cutting board and rub the herb-butter on the bottom of the turkey.
