Pot Roast

Pot Roast (Another Great Freezer Meal)

4 pounds boneless chuck roast
2 cups water
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion and mushroom soup mix
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
3 potatoes, peeled and chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
2 carrots, chopped
2 carrots, chopped

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. Score roast on top and sides, and place in a medium sized oven bag. Combine water, soup mix, and Worcestershire sauce; pour over roast. Arrange vegetables around meat. Place oven bag on a roasting pan.

Freeze before cooking:
Freeze in labeled Zip lock bag or tin foil pans for easy clean up. Cover with tin foil, label, and freeze.

Place roast in oven, and immediately reduce heat to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Bake for 1 1/2 hours for medium well done, or adjust time for desired doneness.

Can be transferred in to a crock pot low 8 hours or high 4-5.
