Traditional Krumkake Cookie Recipe's
# 1 Krumkake
Petersen Family Heritage Recipe (My Grandmother Alice's recipe)
4 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup melted butter
½ teaspoon vanilla
4 Tablespoons cream
1 teaspoon cardamon
11/4 to 11/2 cups flour
Beat eggs well, add sugar a little at a time. Continue to
add vanilla, cream, and cardamom. Add butter last. Drop batter on hot Krumkake iron and bake to
golden brown. While hot roll in a cone shape with cone tool.

6 eggs
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 Tablespoons cream
1 teaspoon cardamom
3 cups flour
Beat eggs, add sugar, then soften butter, flour, and
flavoring. Drop batter on hot Krumkake iron and bake to golden brown. While hot
roll in a cone shape with cone tool.

1 1/2 cup sugar
½ cup whip cream
11/2 cup water
2 cups flour
2 cups potato flour
2 sticks butter (melted and cooled)
2 teaspoons cardamom or vanilla, or cinnamon
Beat eggs well, add sugar a little at a time, flour, and
flavoring. Add soften butter last. Drop batter on hot Krumkake iron and bake to
golden brown. While hot roll in a cone shape with cone tool. Makes 125 cookies.
